Subscription, Cancellation, and Refund Policy

Current Implementation Status
The current CarrierOps repository includes module entitlement records and trial access, but does not show an implemented payment processor, checkout flow, billing portal, recurring charge process, automated cancellation, refund workflow, or tax calculation. CarrierOps should not collect paid subscriptions until checkout disclosures and operational billing procedures are finalized.
Published Plan Intent
Public product copy currently references a Free Compliance Binder at $0/month, Starter Owner Operator at $9/month, and Pro Run the Truck at $19/month. Final plan names, included features, prices, taxes, trials, renewal terms, upgrade/downgrade rules, and cancellation timing must be confirmed before launch.
Future Billing Disclosures
Before purchase, checkout should clearly show recurring price, billing frequency, trial terms, renewal date, cancellation method, failed-payment handling, tax handling, refund rules, and links to applicable policies. CarrierOps should not store full payment-card details unless a future implementation requires and lawfully supports it.
Referral Credits and Rewards
Referral credits, affiliate commissions, influencer rewards, or similar benefits are not earned by creating a free account alone. Unless final referral terms say otherwise, rewards should qualify only after a successful paid billing event and may be cancelled or reversed after refunds, chargebacks, fraud, duplicate company signups, self-referrals, or abuse. Cash payouts should not be implemented until tax, accounting, identity, and payment processing requirements are reviewed.
